CLOSING

- Foundation should communicate with each other more.

- Look for convergence, get different pieces to talk with each other, an awareness of what is out there.

- Presenters good to know that there is common struggle out there.

- Is board really a stakeholder for evaluation - why all the work for the board???

- Leaving with great ideas and concrete suggestions. Affirmations that some things happening are really making sense.

- Connections and tools - made the whole period very useful.

- Gratifying that language being used was very accessible to participants that they were able to jump quite easily.

 

FINAL REFLECTIONS - what worked well and what should change.....

- faclitation was good; consultative session a good model to have

- level of group participation was great and rewarding

- awareness of profiles of the programs - a way to get folks to look at this b4 meeting - get a context of who is doing what etc....would increase connections. LLC should prompt - here who is coming and their profile is on the database - folks can come better prepared.

- pairing of program and evaluator - works very well.

- overrall structure of funders and evaluator a great model - bring them together but periods of breakout for each.

- level of candor from participants made it work very well

- work done before - sharing of framework - good to have this and then build on this

- will post collective leadership framework on wiki.

- came to session assuming collective leadership not known - came to know about - but really here more of a better understanding....awareness of the language used to not be so off putting.....in collective leadership - no right name but list constructs....will be very helpful to connect. Give context of collective leadership.

- The WHY of collective leadership is very important to have along with the what....did not quite capture the elements of what makes this collective leadership whatever this definition might be....maybe need for more critical and deeper discussion around this.

- Roving conversations was very good.

- Like the sense of fun.

- evaluator team - is a good thing to do....if funders want to bring their evaluators....prompts or criteria - about who should be there - what the work will be - will make decision who to bring along

- LLC team - care for the group and appreciation for documentation

- adding - use evaluation tools - with the larger group at CS VIII - trying them out.....
