Evaluation Learning Circle at Creating Space VII

The evaluation learning circle held a three hour meeting at the opening of Creating SpaceVII in Durham, NC on April 5th, 2006. The purpose of the meeting was to explore and reflect on the progress of the pilot project thus far and identify next steps for sharing, integrating and synthesizing the learning on priority questions.

Connecting, Integrating and Synthesizing Learning from Across Leadership Development Evaluations: Part II

 

I. Welcome and Brief Introductions (Claire) – 10 minutes

 

II. How Did We Get Here and Where We Are Going (Claire) – 15 minutes

 

III. Icebreaker -- Adopting Technological Innovations – Where are you on the bell curve? (Elissa) – 20 minutes

 

  • Innovators: Are you one of those people who is constantly on the look out for whatever is new and wants to be the
  • Early Adopters: Are you one of those people who considers yourself an early adopter of new technology and is likely to try it if one or two others you know have used it?
  • Early Majority: Are you one of those people who is careful about getting on the bandwagon but is willing to give new technology a try if others whom you respect have tried it?
  • Late Majority: Are you one of those skeptical people who is only willing to try new technology after the majority of people are using it?
  • Laggards: Are you one of those people who like the old way of doing things better and feels critical towards all these new technologies?
